Has anyone tried Eve Online with jfw? Does it work? I'd try it myself, but I don't want to download 2 gig or whatever and have it not work.
try it and let us know.
Here's what sucks. They have an add-on out there for this freakin game for every disability accept blindness. Someone should, perhaps, step up and make one?
What is eve online?
Eve Online is a huge online multiplayer science fiction game. It looks really cool. Orin: have you tried the game without an add-on? Perhaps it doesn't need one? I will try it out today and let everyone know how it goes.
After an hour and a half of downloading, the answer to this question is: no. It looks like it's using QT or similar; the main screen doesn't read at all. The screen has no menu bar, not even with a system menu. Alt-f4 does not, for whatever reason, exit the program. When you're in the Eve window, jaws just sees the desktop if you use the jaws cursor.
Well, that sucks.
you know it would be nice, if for once one of these major mmorpgs would make themselves accessible for us to play as well.
well, eve online is a 3d mmorpg so, of course it's not going to work witch really sucks!

Yeah I know, but it sucks that we can't play those.
The fact that it's 3d doesn't mean it won't work. See many of the folks around here who use playstation and other console 3d games. 'twas worth a shot.
